About the instructor
Rebecca Lisi is a RYT-200 who completed her yoga teacher training in 2006 with Eileen Muir of Karuna Yoga in Northampton, MA. Since then she has taught community yoga classes around the Pioneer Valley and has maintained her own practice of self-study through yoga and meditation. Rebecca's alignment-based approach to teaching yoga has been described as "clean and polished." She offers detailed instructions that help students understand how to do the poses and develop an awareness of the effects of the sequence on their bodies and minds.
Rebecca loves advancing social justice and being active in her community. In Holyoke, MA she was a dedicated elected official from 2008-2022. Rebecca also holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
